Vactor Launches RightStart Customer Experience Program

STREATOR, Ill. (Feb. 16, 2006) — Beginning this month, Vactor Manufacturing, Inc., manufacturer of the HXX HydroExcavator®, is welcoming new equipment purchasers into a customer experience program called RightStart, designed to give customers the information, contacts, training and resources they need to get off to a productive start from Day 1 with their new HXX HydroExcavator.

"Our Vactor HXX units are customized to meet each customer's unique requirements, so we want to be sure every customer gets off to the right start," said Tony Fuller, director, Industrial Sales & Marketing. He explained that the program starts with thorough in-plant testing to make sure that the unit coming off the line is in perfect working order and meets all customer specifications.

"Once the in-plant testing is completed, we fly the customer to our manufacturing plant in Illinois to inspect and pick up the new machine," Fuller said. "While the customer is at our Streator facility, we provide hands-on training to ensure the customer understands all the functions and capabilities of the new Vactor HXX HydroExcavator and understands how to operate the unit for maximum productivity."

But the program doesn't end with delivery, according to Fuller. "Within 30 days, a company representative will call to go over answers to any questions the customer may have." A representative will call again before 60 days are up.

"RightStart is the Vactor way of making sure the customer knows he has received not only the best engineered equipment available, but also the best training and service," Fuller said.
